2. Only fools and horses, again too many to choose from, the card game sticks in mind and when they run up the street dressed as bat man and robin and the woman is gettign mugged, hink i wet myself a ittle bit laughing!!

1. Faulty Towers.. every episode, i love Cybil and Manuel!

So, what are your favourites?

Whats your favourite episode of Farty Towels? %26amp; Whats your top 5 British comedies?
A Touch of Class is probably my favorite, with Hotel Inspector, Basil the rat and the Germans tied as close seconds, but since there was only 12 episodes, all the rest are a close third!

5.Ab-Fab.

4.The Young Ones.

3.Monty Python's Flying Circus.

2.Blackadder.

1.Watery Fowls (Flowery Twats, Flay Otters, Etc...)

Fawlty Towers was a rare moment in Television history...In any country. The premise was beautifully simple, and the performances were top notch. With no communication barrier between the writers and actors, purity of comic vision and easy improvisation make for what could be the greatest show ever to have the dubious classification of "sitcom."
Reply:ok being the Yank that i am i am going to 'cheat' on this one and break them into 2 groups- sitcoms and sketch shows

Sketch shows:

1. Monty python

2.The Two ronnies

Reply:i remember the episode where the sign says flowery tw.ts my father turned it off.
Reply:I love the episode where it's spelt "Flowery Twats"

The "view from a Torquay Hotel Bedroom Window" scene with Mrs Richardson was the best moment for me.

Father Ted - Dougal trying to remember Sister Assumpta (Cigarettes, Alcohol and Rollerblading)

OFAH - The Batman and Robin episode, Rodney in those tights is pure comedy in itself!!

The Office - The episode when they are at Chasers and Gareth pulls a married woman and they her husband wants a threesome. The bit at the end with Gareth in the sidecar is hysterical.

Blackadder 2 - The Ploppy Family - although they are not related "we did laugh when first we found out!!!"

So many to choose from I have hundreds of faves, but these were the ones off the top of my head.

Reply:Fawlty Towers was tip-top for sure!! My favorite open of an episode was with the rearranged letters spelling out "Flowery Tw@ts." But I think my favorite episode would be the one where Basil had a head injury and ended up going crazy on the German folks who were in the dining room.

Reply:I like all of Falwty towers and have watched all of them way too many times to count. I think the Pyhchitrst one was totally hysterical and also Basil the rat. My other fave Brit shows are Are you being served, Any Black Adder,Red Dwarf, The two Ronnies ( very old show but I used to watch it when I was little with my Dad, it got me started liking British comedy) You rang , my lord, of course Monty Python and Benny Hill.
Reply:My most favorite episode is when Miss Faulty thinks that her husband is after the other woman....lol. Next would be the episode with the inspector..... but most of all i thought Miss Faulty was one sexy woman...Just loved her...:)
Reply:I love Fawlty Towers big time especially the one with Mrs Richardson. Really makes me laugh! Only fools and horses has to be the one with the chandelier and the one where Del boy falls into the bar. I love it. Father Ted is hystericall bought them all on DVD a short while ago.
